Make two unrelated things related.
I picked up this book called ‘Chi Running.’ It combines the ancient practices of tai chi with the bio-mechanics of running – fascinating. It made me start thinking about other seemingly unrelated things that could be combined. One example I thought of: air travel and circus clowns? (Bad but you get the picture.)
The world is big.
I am looking out the window of a plane at the vast Canadian Prairie as we fly over it. There’s a lot of land out there, people. Land filled with people and opportunities and problems. A good reminder when I get caught up in the so-called big problems within my (small) world.
Would someone describe you as open minded if you weren’t around?
If not, why not? I think there’s power in being confident and knowing that there is a chance I could be completely wrong.
I saw that someone ran 232 km’s in 2 days.
It made me seriously question what I deem possible for my physical body. I believe the human body is capable of things we can only imagine.

I want to create my own elementary and high school.
It would focus on helping a child discover passions and dreams and put structure around actually achieving them. Not saying I actually will – it’s just a dream of mine.
Why I don’t own a TV.
It’s a distraction that I have very little control over when I turn it on. So, keeping it in my home would be crazy.
